No. 10 Turua Street was one of three Spanish Mission style art deco cottages that sat in a row in the eastern beach suburb of St Heliers, Auckland that were built in 1935 and demolished together in early 2011 under much protest from the local community. This extraordinary house in particular fascinated me as a child.
Simon Stockley is an eclectic artist based in Auckland who works in a variety of mediums. Currently, he’s producing a series of digital prints as well as continuing his 25-year passion for computer-generated art.
