Fishmob framing glass options
Here at Fishmob, we offer three types of glass options.
Standard glass: Standard glass is a clear glass that is most commonly used in picture frames. It is lightweight and provides optimal clarity of the artwork it is framing.
UV glass (99% UV blocking): Our UV glass is a special type of glass that is designed to block out 99% of harmful UV rays, which can cause fading to artwork especially with New Zealand's sun. Sunlight has the ability to react with the print pigments and alter its chemical composition resulting in faded colours.
Non-reflective glass (70% UV blocking): Non reflective glass is a special type of glass that has been treated to reduce glare and reflections. It is perfect for framing artwork in bright areas, as it allows the artwork to be seen without any distracting glares or reflections.
